The ESMIF 8740 hob has premium slider controls, a booster on every zone , programmable timer , and melting and simmering options.With this Bauknecht hob, you can cook efficiently, as induction combines all the advantages of gas and glass ceramics in one intelligent technology. This means it offers extremely fast heating and cooling: if the cookware is removed from the hob, the energy supply is automatically stopped. The FlexiCook zones makes it possible to cook with two pans simultaneously at different temperatures or to join two cooking zones together into one large cooking zone. Along with the switchable cooking zones, the induction hob provides an extra-large cooking zone with a diameter of 30 cm. The auto-sensor automatically turns down the power when water is boiling, thereby ensuring safety and saving energy. The pause function is also highly practical: activated and deactivated at the push of a button, it automatically switches all active cooking zones back to the keep-warm setting. If the pause function is not reactivated within 30 minutes, the hob automatically switches itself off.
